About the story, Wedding Tarot:

Originally started as part of NaNoWriMo 2004, Wedding Tarot is set in New Orleans and takes a humorous look at the planning of a modern wedding in a Old South setting. Amid the usual ups and downs of integrating two families and hundreds of ideas, cards from a unique Tarot deck appear. What do they mean? Wait and see.

Originally intended to be a prose novel, one day in 2007 it occurred to Jennifer that it was imminently suited to a visual presentation. Since her work was becoming more visual anyway, it made more sense to develop it as a graphic novel instead.

About the deck, The Wedding Tarot:

When she began the story, Jennifer discovered that there really wasn’t a deck that would work for the project. This is hardly a down-side, however, as it added another facet to the research and another project on her horizon. The deck is being developed to compliment the story being told as well as a working, stand-alone deck that would make a great gift for a bride-to-be or a spiritually-minded wedding planner.
