Red-Headed Step-Project
June 4th, 2009 adminSeriously, this poor book continues to get wait-listed and pushed a little farther down on the list. It’s such a shame. If it could I bet it would go find someone else to finish it yet, thank goodness, it is trapped inside my own stuffy skull and the key is lost, much like the password to this site which I keep having to reset each time I remember to post over here. (Another sure sign that I’m neglecting the project.)
On the up side (there is always one), my art is progressing to a point where I’m much more comfortable producing pages with a look I’m interested in. It’s still not perfect, likely never will be, but it’s more consistent and the line quality, etc. is improving. So, you know, when I actually finish parts 2 & 3 in draft form, then edit/convert them to a comics script, I should have no problem moving on to pages. Other than time, that is. I figure pages are a good year away, at least, but I’m itching to get to work on the cards: my mental images are filling in nicely. Again, the obstacle is time, but as a project the cards are closer to completion (at least the research/draft stage on the Major Arcana and the majority of the Court Cards).
