Small Progress

The script still languishes in limbo but I’ve made some progress in the structure of the accompanying deck, itself. After all, at least 9 of the cards will be shown in the finished novel so it needs to develop right along with it or the work will be incomplete. Still, my recent choices for the 16 court cards of the Minor Arcana tidy up some loose ends I had for that portion of the deck and I’m looking forward to some true forward motion there.

My plan to have the entire script drafted for the end of 2008 just isn’t going to happen but that’s okay, too, because I still have some plot points to work out for Acts 2 and 3 and since there’s no deadline, I can take my time. I’m going with another project for the upcoming Small Press Idol (the same project I thought I would have launched by now, but it’s just as well: an extra year of thinking it through has made it that much better, I think) and a second webcomic is in the works so things are staying busy for me. As I’ve said elsewhere: time management is going to be key in 2009.

Time to go make a massive to-do list for the rest of 2008!
